William Hutchings

Deputy Head of Senior School – Upper School

Mr. Hutchings completed a BA (Hons) in Ancient History at The University of Nottingham before enrolling on the Graduate Teacher Program. He worked in Kent, UK for 5 years before moving overseas to China. His first international post was in Qingdao, where he worked as Lower Secondary Coordinator and a Humanities teacher. Mr. Hutchings has been at DCSPD since 2014 and he has held the roles of Acting Head of Year 10, Head of Year 13 and Assistant Head (Character and Wellbeing), as well as recently being appointed as Deputy Head (Upper School). Mr. Hutchings has been heavily involved in the Model United Nations programme since his arrival at DCSPD, and relishes the opportunity to discuss global issues with the students.
