Dulwich Pudong Excels in Languages Competition: A Race for Points!

From June 11 to June 14, students at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong (DCSPD) participated in an exciting Languages competition on Education Perfect, earning points while mastering various languages. Competing against peers from other Dulwich International Schools, DCSPD made remarkable progress, ultimately leading in both total points and average points per student.

Education Perfect is an online learning platform that offers a range of educational resources and tools for students and teachers.

The competition featured a range of languages available on the Education Perfect platform, inviting participants from Dulwich schools across Beijing, Puxi, Seoul, Singapore, and Suzhou. Students were encouraged to improve their skills in languages such as French, Spanish, and Mandarin, as well as explore Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Melayu, and Thai.

As the competition progressed, students showcased their dedication. By Day 2, notable participants achieved Elite Awards, helping the college secure its position at the top of the leaderboard. This was the first time DCSPD led in average points per student, underscoring the collective effort of all participants. By Day 3, the school maintained its top position, excelling in languages including French, Japanese, and Russian. With a vibrant atmosphere of competition, students earned numerous awards, including 13 emeralds and 40 silver awards. On the final day, participation surged, nearly doubling scores overnight. Several students joined the Elite club, each amassing 3,200 points—equivalent to about nine hours of language learning. As the competition drew to a close, DCSPD continued to excel in nearly every language category!
