Dulwich Voice: Sports Edition

This edition of Dulwich Voice turns its spotlight on the world of sport at Dulwich Pudong. From the track where athletes sprint, to the pools where swimmers glide, you will find a range of stories below.

Over the past month, we held phased Sports Day events for students from Year 1 through to Year 13. From the youngest athletes taking their first competitive steps, to our experienced seniors in their final year, every movement on the field was a spark of energy and growth. On 19 October, 80 of our 113 AquaPanthers competed at SCIS in the Shanghai Swim League (SSL) Round 1 Swim Meet, facing elite swimmers from other SSL international schools.

All athletes demonstrated exceptional perseverance, with every swimmer giving their best effort. Both new and experienced team swimmers achieved personal bests throughout the competition.

Our parent cheerleading squad also provided enthusiastic support, serving as powerful motivation for our swimmers.  The other schools just couldn't take their eyes away from their impressive show of team spirit!

The event showcased our swimmers' athletic talents while highlighting team cohesion and school values. Many swimmers set personal bests and broke school records.

This valuable experience will inspire our team to achieve even greater success in future competitions.
