Record-breaking IGCSE results at Dulwich Pudong
We couldn’t be prouder of our Year 12 students, who set a new College record with their exceptional IGCSE examination results, released last week.
An unprecedented 86% of all grades awarded were A*-A (or the equivalent), with more than half of all candidates (56%) earning straight A*s or As (or the equivalent). Overall, every single student passed – a 100% success rate.
These record-breaking IGCSE results cap a historic year for Dulwich Pudong and are a cause for celebration throughout the community. As with our outstanding IB results, they reflect not only the hard work of our students, but also the dedication, care and encouragement provided by our staff and families. Well done to everyone.
The IGCSE, taken by students aged 14 to 16, is a rigorous two-year programme that builds the skills and knowledge needed for future academic success and is a qualification recognised by academic institutions and employers worldwide.
These exceptional set of grades highlights the academic strength and determination of our students, and they should feel very proud. Their achievements give them an excellent foundation as they move forward to the challenges of the IB Diploma Programme.
For our Year 12 students, who sat their exams in May these outstanding results are the perfect launchpad as they step up to the challenges of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme this year.
