Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong

For the past 400 years, Dulwich College has built a reputation for international academic excellence, underpinned by a history of curriculum innovation. In 2018, the Dulwich international colleges of Shanghai; Pudong and Puxi campuses will proudly launch a pioneering education initiative called SE21 – bringing to life the new Dulwich STEAM curriculum. SE21 stands for S: STEAM, E: Entrepreneurship, and 21: 21st century skills of creativity, critical thinking and collaboration. SE21 will offer Junior and Senior students phase one robotics, coding, CAD/CAM, graphic design, film, digital, and virtual reality.

At Dulwich we believe that the development of 21st century skills are a critical education requirement to prepare students for the world they face beyond school. The new STEAM curriculum at Dulwich combines the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths and will require students to work collaboratively using a project-based learning approach. It will provide opportunities for students to develop and hone entrepreneurship skills. Students will be expected to pitch ideas and develop these from creative aspiration to business actualisation.
