Assistant Head: Data and Tracking, Year 4 Teacher
Holly attended the University of Surrey and gained her BA (Hons) in Primary Education. After teaching for a few years in her home city of London, she decided that it was time to see a part of the world she had not seen before. She took up her first international teaching post in Beijing then and spent two fascinating years in Beijing at the British School of Beijing before moving with her family to Hong Kong. Whilst in Hong Kong, she worked for an English Schools Foundation school called Quarry Bay. The curriculum was PYP and she learnt a lot about the inquiry method of teaching. Following two years at Quarry Bay, she moved to an independent school, Discovery Bay International, where she worked for another 5 years. Four years ago, her family made the move to Shanghai to Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong. Holly really enjoys the College and the extra activities on offer keep her busy. An example of this is her involvement in the Dulwich Adult Players drama club and yoga, both run by talented teachers at the College. When not at school, she likes working out at the gym and exploring new places to eat in Shanghai. She is also in the middle of a Masters in Applied Educational Leadership and Management with the Institute of Education in London. Dulwich College Shanghai is supportive of this and allows her the opportunity to fulfil her further education studies.
