This is Jamie's 11th year living in Shanghai, 9 of those have been working with Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong after moving from the British International School, Puxi back in 2008. Before that he was teaching in Cardiff which was also where he studied for his post graduate certificate of education at UWIC. He graduated from Leeds University with a BSc in Psychology, and he wrote his dissertation around the field of Sports Psychology and Education; examining the effects of less of fitness and stress perception in an educational setting. Whilst at School he represented his county at Hockey and Rugby before progressing to represent a professional rugby academy at U21 level whilst at university. His passion has always been physical activity and performance. His biggest challenge has always been deciding where to focus his efforts. As he has grown his interests diversified and whilst he still actively takes part in team sports such as football, his focus in recent years has been more on the individual sports having fought in three amateur boxing matches and competing in his first half ironman last year.
