Vicky completed her undergraduate studies at Beijing Shifan University, receiving double degrees in Chinese Language and Literature and English Language and Literature. After working 2 years in journalism, she completed a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then a Master of Teaching at The University of Melbourne. Her teaching qualification is in Languages Other Than English and English as an Additional Language from The University of Melbourne. Vicky has published works on literacy and curriculum in English and Chinese literature and comparative literature in Chinese. Before joining the professional team at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong, she worked at Melbourne Girls Grammar. She enjoys sports, meditation, reading and outdoor activities in her spare time. She is a 10th generation inheritor of bajiquan, a traditional Chinese martial art. Working in Shanghai has given her an opportunity to reconnect with her Chinese heritage.
