I joined Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong on 6 January 2020.

Where else have you lived in the world?
I have been living in Shanghai since I was born. Before working in DUCKS, I worked at another international school for 4 years.

What do you think is special about Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong?
Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong is an international school with a long history and remarkable achievements. It is a well-known school in Shanghai. When I first entered DUCKS, I could feel kindness and inclusiveness. People are very nice, and they are conscientious about their work. The atmosphere at DUCKS is friendly. It feels like a big family.

Did you always want to work at an international school?
Yes, I did. I’m enjoying working with children, playing with them and taking care of them. The international school has diversified education, and children can learn about people from different cultural backgrounds and with different languages.

What is your favourite weekend activity in Shanghai?
Reading. I have been reading different kinds of books from children’s books to famous literary work.

What is your favourite book and who is your favourite author?
It is hard to say which one is my favourite, but I’m enjoying reading different kinds of books from children’s books to famous literary work.

Which five people would you invite to a dinner party, dead or alive?
I will invite my family and my friends to the party.

What does a typical day at the college look like for you?
I stay with the little children, teaching them Mandarin songs and stories, and taking care of their daily routine. I also communicate with the Toddler groups.
