Deputy Head of Senior School

Mrs. Russell is the Deputy Head of Senior School, with responsibility for the Middle School, overseeing the pastoral care and academic life of students in Years 7 - 9.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Mrs Russell started her career working in leading secondary schools in Essex.  In 2002, Mrs Russell began her professional journey in British International Schools, spending a decade in outstanding schools in the Middle East. This included a middle leadership role at St Christopher’s School, often cited in the world’s best schools, as well as helping to establish Dubai English Speaking College as the Founding Head of English.

More recently, Mrs Russell has held Middle and Senior Leadership roles in schools in Thailand and China. Before joining Dulwich Pudong as Deputy Head of Senior School, she was responsible for the pastoral care of senior students at The British School of Guangzhou, one of the largest international schools in Southern China.

Outside of her professional life, Mrs Russell enjoys reading, travelling and baseball. Like the rest of her family, she is an  Disneyland enthusiast and a season ticket holder for the LA Dodgers baseball team.
