Season's Greeting

This week the school was transformed with festive decorations appearing throughout the Colleges. Shining stars now hang from the ceilings, dazzling Christmas trees brighten our communal spaces and green wreaths adorn the walls. Even Father Christmas made an appearance much to the delight of the children - Christmas is officially coming!

We began the holiday season with our annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. As with so many other things, this year's celebration was unlike any that we've ever done before. Although, due to Government restrictions, we were unable to invite parents to enjoy the moment with us as we normally would, we were fortunate to have had our Bel Canto choir led by Ruth Collings, as well as our Community Choir lead us in some rousing renditions of holiday classics, supported by Head of Instrumental Music Tim Parker, Instrumental Music Teacher Patrick Sabberton and Director of Music Toby Carden. We filmed the event to share with our entire community, which you can see at the top. Thank you to our Academic Technology Specialist, Alex Lefevre, for his hard work on the video.

We hope you enjoy the virtual Tree Lighting!
