Background
Following her degree Ms Dutch began her teaching career in Scotland where she taught in all stages of primary and also Learning Support before returning to her first love - Early Years. Ms Dutch enjoyed 11 years working in a range of state and independent schools in the UK, before moving abroad with her family to explore international education in 2009. Over the next 10 years Ms Dutch worked in a well known school in Saudi Arabia holding a range of positions culminating in 4 years as Head of Nursery. She moved with her family to Shanghai to take up position as Toddler Leader in 2019, and enjoyed 3 wonderful years working with our youngest students. Ms Dutch’s husband David Dutch is Director of Sport and PE and her 3 children also attend Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong in Junior and Senior school. She very much enjoys living in Shanghai with her family and rescue dog, and is excited to continue her career as Assistant Head of DUCKS this year.
