Class of 2025 University Matriculations
We are delighted to share the university matriculation results for our Class of 2025. These next steps in their careers are a direct reflection of their dedication and have opened doors to top-tier institutions across the globe.
Their acceptances to top universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Asia showcase the unique character of Dulwich students, who combine academic depth with a global perspective.
Our students are attending leading universities worldwide, including including Princeton, Stanford, Columbia, UC Berkeley, Duke, Northwestern, WashU, NYU and Emory in the U.S., as well as Imperial College London, LSE and UCL in the U.K.
They are pursuing a diverse range of academic interests. The largest cohort of 38.3% studies Social Sciences and Humanities, followed by 27.66% in STEM fields and 10.64% in Business. Another 6.38% have chosen to study Visual and Performing Arts.
This outstanding matriculation success was underpinned by impressive IB Diploma results. Our students achieved an average score of 38.1 points, with nearly 47% earning 40 points or more. These remarkable scores not only highlight their exceptional abilities and commitment but also reinforce Dulwich Pudong's continuing position as a leader in academic excellence.
At Dulwich Pudong, we provide professional, personalised university and career counselling, guiding students on their own ideal path. We help each student find a direction that aligns with their potential.
This year, the Dulwich Pudong University and Career Counseling (UCC) team welcomed its new Director, Carlo Kuepers.
With over 25 years of international work experience spanning the Americas, Europe and Africa, he has held leadership roles in multinational corporations, the United Nations, government agencies and higher education.
As a member of the Global Affairs Committee of the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) and a former university and career guidance counselor at top international schools in Japan and Singapore, he has spent years guiding students and families through the complex choices involved in the university exploration and application process.
Along with our experienced and globally-minded advisory team, they will continue to provide students with comprehensive support for their higher education journey, leveraging their deep professional expertise.
Our UCC programme covers Years 9 to 13, creating a structured, progressive pathway:
· Year 9: Combined with IGCSE course selection, students gain an initial understanding of the full picture of university pathways.
· Year 10: Focusing on the theme of 'World of Work' to foster self-exploration and interest discovery.
· Year 11: Hosting a 'Reverse University Fair' where students role-play as admissions officers, evaluate applications from an admissions perspective, experience the admissions review process, and hone decision-making skills.
· Year 12: Taking full ownership of the application process, firmly in the 'driver's seat'.
· Year 13: Finalising offers and preparing for a successful transition to university life.
Throughout this journey, the UCC focuses as much on personal development as on outcomes, cultivating essential abilities and character:
· Agency: Help students master the knowledge and skills required to truly become the masters of their own university journey.
· Decision-making: Cultivate students' ability to understand and apply scientific decision-making methods, making informed choices after gathering sufficient information.
· Leadership & Initiative: Encourage students to proactively create opportunities.
· Values & Impact: Guide students to clarify personal values and consider the positive impact they hope to bring to society in the future.
· Advocacy & Guidance: UCC advisors not only provide comprehensive student support within the school but also actively advocate for students by communicating with various university admissions departments worldwide.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025 graduates on their outstanding achievements. We wish them all the best for a bright future!
