The IB Art Exhibition is one of the major highlights on the College calendar. That is when our IB art students put on an exhibition which displays the work they have created over the course of their IB Art study.
Ordinarily we would have an exhibition vernissage inviting parents, students and staff to hear the artists themselves explain their vision and artistic practice - an important part of satisfying the requirements for IB Art.
Of course this year COVID caused us to change plans. Instead of a physical exhibition, we invite created a virtual exhibition. which you can browse below.
Each student has really tried to step out of there comfort zone and explore a wide range of themes this year.
"I'm very excited by the works created by this year's IB Art students," shares Bethany Edwards, Year 13 Art teacher. "They have worked very hard to explore new mediums, master technique, and work towards creating symbolic language to express themselves and engage with the wider world."
