Ignite Your Child's Journey to Switzerland!
We are delighted to announce the launch of Ignite: Switzerland, a 12-week experiential learning programme where our Year 9 students will be able to spend a term in the stunning Swiss Alps.

This brand new programme is an incredible opportunity for our students to ignite their passions, broaden their knowledge and add new skills and capabilities in one of the most inspiring settings in the world before they go on to the challenging I/GCSE and IB exam courses.

Inspiring Alps scenery
The Ignite: Switzerland Programme is directed by Caroline Taylor, who was previously the Head of College at Dulwich Pudong for four years before moving to the Hochalpines Institut Ftan (HiF) school in Ftan, Switzerland, where the Ignite Programme is headquartered. HiF is globally renowned for both academics and outdoor sports, having produced a number of Olympic athletes.
Emphasis on outdoor activities
As part of the Ignite Programme, students travel to Switzerland where they reside at the HiF school for 12 weeks. There they experience a challenging curriculum that meets our high standards, enhanced by world-class outdoor learning experiences.
The application process for Ignite is rigorous, involving a written statement as well as family interviews. Each year the number of participants will be limited.
For those students who are successful, Ignite will be an incredible experience. The programme has been carefully designed to help students develop self-confidence and independence whilst building character and resilience.
Strong core academic programme
Not only do students broaden their global vision, they are immersed in outdoor activities which build physical and mental capabilities, learning and thinking skills, and accelerate development of individual responsibility.
The Ignite Programme is one of the benefits we enjoy as part of the Education in Motion (EiM) family of schools, allowing us to extend unique learning opportunities to our Dulwich Pudong students.
