Showcasing a Day in the Life of Middle School at Dulwich Pudong
Middle school is widely regarded as a pivotal stage in education, often referred to as the foundation for future academic endeavors. It lays the groundwork for students' future studies by equipping them with essential knowledge, skills, and habits of learning.
We invited middle school students from different year groups, Shu Qi , Year 7, Isabella, Year 8 and Ryder, Year 9 to share an intimate glimpse into their vibrant campus lives.
Join us as we delve into the captivating world of middle school at Dulwich Pudong, where learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences converge.
At Dulwich Pudong, our middle school curriculum adheres to the National Curriculum of England and Wales, tailored to meet the needs of our international community. Students will learn the IGCSE curriculum in Year 10 and Year 11 and the IB curriculum in year 12 and year 13.

Over the years, our students have consistently achieved impressive results in IGCSE and IB examinations.
Our recent graduating Class of 2023 once again secured the top spot in the China League IB Table for 2023 shared by Education Advisers, a prestigious education evaluation organization in the UK.

This marks the second consecutive year that Dulwich Pudong has held the first position.
And as for our students in the IGCSE program, their performance continues to be outstanding, as always.
Our students have been awarded Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards and Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards for their Top in China scores in the 2023 IGCSE examinations.

The Middle School experience is often overshadowed by the all-out dash to prepare for exams. However, it is a critical stage in each student's educational and life journey.
Yet, we go beyond academics.

In the Middle School we want students to grow in confidence and skills within a safe, nurturing environment that allows them to be individuals within a supportive community.
"In the Middle School we want students to grow in confidence and skills within a safe, nurturing environment that allows them to be individuals within a supportive community.", says Head of Senior School, Alison Derbyshire.
Our primary emphasis lies in fostering the personal development of young individuals as they traverse this pivotal transitional phase in their education. Recognizing the profound changes that accompany early adolescence, we embrace the excitement of growth and self-discovery.
Also, we provide a diverse array of enriching co-curricular activities, offering our students boundless opportunities for exploration, self-realization, and the attainment of a well-rounded education.
And all of the above are reflected in the video "A Day in the Life of Middle School," and once again, we thank Shu Qi, Isabella, and Ryder for their sharing!
